What You’ll Do
- Maintain the aging of assigned customer accounts, including making timely contact on past-due accounts and keeping accurate, up-to-date notes in our system.
- Reconcile customer accounts to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted, and that invoices, credits, and statements are accurate.
- Research, analyze, and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Process credit memos in accordance with company policy.
- Assist in preparing and posting cash receipts and provide collection status reports to management.
- Monitor and respond promptly to accounts receivable inquiries, including managing shared email inboxes.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned, ensuring timeliness and 100% accuracy.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of accounts receivable/collections experience.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management capabilities.
- Analytical Thinking: Excellent problem-solving skills to research and resolve discrepancies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, ability to effectively collaborate with accounting staff, management, and customers, reflecting our values of respect and integrity.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and Gmail apps.
